Penny Billington

Penny Billington is a Druid in the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids and has edited the Order magazin, Touchstone, for six years. Her druidic take on life is that of 'living lightly' on the earth. Essentially, this includes not only ecological awareness but lightness of spirit. She believes that some of our deepest spiritual experiences can come from joy in the moment, and that celebration is a vital way of honouring life.

Her extensive and varied experience of ritual and druidic practice ensure that her writings stories follow the traditional pattern of esoteric writers, disseminating occult principles and knowledge through fiction, whilst remaining true to the first tenet of writing; that of telling a good yarn.

Penny spoke at the Swindon Festival of Literature (May 2008), and at the Dion Fortune Conference in Glastonbury (September 2008) as well as doing a number of local events.
